Adventure Physio

Adventure Physio

South Africa is host to many incredible multistage race events. We have a beautiful country to explore with many a farm owner opening up their lands to provide race events with some incredible trails. Multistage races are tough , resulting in increased physical and emotional demands on the athlete. Our passionate physios are ready to keep bodies in great shape to get you through each day's challenges.

AdventurePhysio was started off by Claire Fuller in 2009 working for a handful of private clients at the ABSA Cape Epic. From there she worked at many other race events around the country, and the need for a qualified physiotherapy service became apparent. Over the last six years she has built up a client base which include many of the country's top multistage events. At these events we have helped many athletes- everyone from the racing snakes to weekend warriors have benefitted.

The Physiotherapists employed for all race events are all qualified physiotherapists who have completed or are in the process of completing their post graduate Sports Physiotherapy and Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (SPT/ OMT) courses. These courses enable the physio to better evaluate and treat each athlete- using skills that are current and evidence based.
